About Us

FØR means "before" in Danish.

FØR speaks to a time when being creative in any medium required work.  We had to build who we were.  We had to search for the people, places, and culture that would accept us - our ideas, our differences, and whatever we were still becoming.

That search was part of the beauty.

We found one another through conversation.  Eye to eye.  Sitting beside each other. Ideas were exchanged, plans traveled by word of mouth, and culture was created by people - not handed to them.

Today, culture can feel lost.  Individuality can feel harder to find.  But neither has disappeared.  It still exists in the people who continue to create, question, connect, and search for something real.

FØR is not a return to another time.

It is proof that this world still exists.
